This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and protected when using the Digital Rapport service.

Digital Rapport services are delivered using technology licensed from Qwantum Leap Pty Ltd, which operates the underlying software platform used to provide the service.

Customers contract with Rapport Digital Pty Ltd for the Digital Rapport service.

Digital Rapport operates using technology licensed from Qwantum Leap Pty Ltd, which provides the underlying platform infrastructure used to deliver the service.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

We may collect personal information including:

From customers (professional service firms)

  • names
  • email addresses
  • phone numbers
  • firm names
  • billing details
  • login credentials
  • IP addresses or device information
  • platform usage analytics

From customer client data processed through the platform

Our platform processes financial information provided by our customers about their clients. This may include:

  • client names
  • business financial metrics
  • business entity information

Digital Rapport does not collect client email addresses or contact details for those clients.

Financial information is supplied by customers and not collected directly from those clients.

3. Financial Data Processing

Digital Rapport processes financial data supplied by customers for the purpose of generating automated financial video reports.

This may include:

  • profit and loss information
  • balance sheet information
  • KPI metrics
  • tax-related figures
  • business performance data

Digital Rapport does not independently verify the accuracy of data provided by customers.

4. Sensitive Information

Digital Rapport does not intentionally collect sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act.

This includes information relating to:

  • health
  • racial or ethnic origin
  • religious beliefs
  • political opinions
  • biometric information

5. How We Collect Personal Information

Personal information may be collected when you:

  • create a platform account
  • use the Digital Rapport service

Digital Rapport services are delivered using technology licensed from Qwantum Leap Pty Ltd, which provides and operates the underlying software platform used to deliver the Digital Rapport service.

In providing the platform, Qwantum Leap Pty Ltd may process personal information on behalf of Digital Rapport and its customers.

Both Digital Rapport personnel and authorised Qwantum Leap personnel may access data where necessary to operate, maintain or support the platform.

9. Data Processing and Storage

Digital Rapport uses Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure operated by Qwantum Leap Pty Ltd.

Data processing may occur in:

  • Australia
  • South Africa
  • Europe
  • United States

Persistent storage of platform data occurs within Australia.

10. Data Retention

Digital Rapport retains information only as long as reasonably necessary.

Customer accounts
Duration of the subscription plus five years.

Video processing data
Underlying financial data used to generate videos is deleted immediately following video processing.

Generated videos
Video files are retained for 90 days.

Logs and analytics
Platform logs and analytics may be retained indefinitely.

11. Disclosure of Personal Information

Personal information may be disclosed to service providers that assist in delivering the platform, including:

  • Qwantum Leap Pty Ltd (platform provider)
  • cloud infrastructure providers (Microsoft Azure)
  • email delivery services
  • payment processors

These providers are required to handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

12. Overseas Disclosure

Because our infrastructure and service providers operate globally, personal information may be processed in jurisdictions outside Australia including:

  • South Africa
  • European jurisdictions
  • United States

We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with Australian privacy laws.

You may request access to personal information we hold about you or request corrections.
